The 4 beers challenge continues with this week’s very cool line up including a “legendary Ale” from the UK, a new dreamy MrBanks, a hazy from NZ’s icons, and a rocking choc-coconut porter from WA.

Theakstons ‘Old Peculier’ Legendary Ale

Often imitated but never matched, here’s the Legendary Ale from Theakstons. If you ever spend times in the UK, you probably have drunk some Theakstons, perhaps even a lot it…

“One of the world’s great beers – smooth, strong and mellow. Old Peculier made Masham famous – rich dark and smooth tasting, with a character all of its own”.

Brewed using the traditional Fuggle hop, this is the closest you’ll get to travel to the UK this month…

Mr Banks ‘Neon Dream’

Every day, as we unload carton after carton, we thank the Hop God that so many breweries are releasing heaps of exciting brews to keep us entertained in these weird times!

Mr Banks just released a dreamy DDH IPA hopped using 100% CRYO hops; Citra, Simcoe & Chinook. Super tropical and juicy with barely any bitterness; this is a hop festival and aromatic dream.

Garage Project ‘Hazy Daze’

With already a case sold in record time, we don’t expect this one to stay long on the shelves. Exciting brew packed with Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra and Strada hops, which would be a great tasting buddy to Mr Banks ‘Neon Dream’. Expect huge hop flavours and aromas backed up by balanced bitterness and smooth mouthfeel.

Rocky Ridge ‘Choc-Coconut’ Porter

The team at Rocky Ridge used 20kg of shredded and roasted coconut…and you can certainly taste it! Thick, malt driven, nutty, chocolaty and a bit boozy: everything you expect, everything you want and everything you need.

Feeling thristy already? So are we.
