This week Jack brings us in an exotic selection of brews. We start with the Mills Paradisi XPA, then sour up with Bridge Road Brewers before getting busy with Garage Project two new releases including a collaboration with Green Cheek. Get on the beers!

The Mill Brewery ‘Passionfruit Paradisi’ XPA

What you see is what you get – an incredibly easy-drinking XPA hopped with Galaxy to within an inch of its life (with Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin as backup vocals). It’s bright and fresh, beautifully crisp, and will make all of your tropical dreams come true.

Bridge Road Brewers Raspberry & Lime Sour

You know the drill – 500 kilos of raspberry get thrown into a Gose base with local spring water, whose high minerality provides a perfect counterbalance to the zingy acidity. Perfumy lime rounds things out in a super sessionable flavour bomb.

Garage Project Fresh IPA Vol. 6

The latest release of GP’s Fresh range – unfined and unfiltered, featuring a unique combo of yeast, hops, and malt. It’s seriously murky, seriously hoppy, and well… seriously fresh. If you like your beers to resemble hop swamps, then this one’s for you.

Garage Project x Green Cheek ‘Just ‘Cause You Feel It’ IPA

They’ve built up an international reputation and their Hapi Sessions series sees them flex it by collaborating with some of the world’s best crafties. This one is with California’s Green Cheek, and a new take on a West Coast IPA using native NZ hops alongside Mosaic and Strata. In a departure from the IPAs a la mode, this one is crisp and dry with big bitterness and huge aroma.
